This looks like a job for... Grand Dragon Byrd

Innis (-ed, of the Congress if Racial Equality) said the only difference between the Robert Byrd of the 1950s and now is, "He's got black colleagues in the House and the Senate who apologize for him."

Here's the rest of the story.

It seems when moonbat exemplar Sen. Boxer Boxer failed to overturn the voters of OH, and her alliance with John F. Kerry to derail Dr. Rice in committee failed (and the memory of the beating they took at Condi's hands will be seared, seared into memory), she had to find new accomplice... but whom?
Of all of the Senators in Washington, who would best be suited to keep a woman down?  I know what your thinking.  If there was a body of water involved, Teddy Kennedy would be the first name on your list.  But Teddy is no spring chicken, and can't be expected to swim like he used to.  Besides, Condi would kick his ass if he ever go close enough for her to smell the Canadian whiskey on his breath (10 feet, give or take).  That, and senators from Mass. haven't been all that reliable to Boxer's ambitions lately...

So, where to turn?  Biden?  Nope.  He failed her in committee...
Feinstein?  Nope... she's lost her membership in the moonbat flock... hanging back on Ohio and other displays of pique.
Whom, when you think of the senate, is ready and willing to slap down a nominee for being a conservative?  Well, 40 some Dem senators.  But some want to try to go along to get along, the traitors... Did I mention she's a woman... hmm, that actually shrank the pool.  Lacking proof that she's unqualified, not willing to oppose a Republican nominee for being Republican, and knowing gender discrimination is no-no... the list of co-conspirators in waiting is getting awfully short...
How, Ms. Boxer must have asked herself (or was that the voices in her head that asked), how can I sweeten the pot?  Wait a minute... she's BLACK!
With this thunderclap of a revelation, Sen Byrd snapped to attention,  and declared, "Ma'am, Ah am yah man!  We'll teach huh the price uv be'in uppity"

Yes. The new axis of power in the disarray that is the current democratic party is forming... hypocritical ethically challenged check bouncing moonbats and un-apologized Klansmen, working together for a better America.  Break out your fire hose senator... Rice looks like she's gonna cross the line and try to walk over to Powell's old office despite you.

Let the hate mail begin...

UPDATE:  Malkin detractors:  you can save time in your tirades, and do a find/replace on your existing hate mail!  Just replace lbfm with whfm (white, hairy, you decide the other letters) and swap whore for pimp.  But that might bring google searches here looking for Nelly songs, or people looking for the Rev Jackson senior under the key words poverty pimp.  But to save you time and thought (I know how important it is to conserve scarce resources), I am willing to take that chance.

UPDATE: Speaking of Ms. Malkin, she makes the point that I forgot to... if this was, say Strom Thurmond or any republican that had even been reported at looking at a black person funny, you can be sure that the NY Times, CBS, Jennings, the Wash. comPost and the rest of the legacy media would be all over this like white on rice.

wait for it....

UPDATE: Via the Diplomad... what Boxer had to say back when Clinton bombed Iraq in 98, during some investigation or another:

"The president had no choice but to act today," she said in a statement issued by her office. "Anyone who questions the timing of his decision ignores the fact that we committed a month ago to act if [chief U.N. weapons inspector] Richard Butler reported that Saddam was not cooperating."

"These critics are blinded by political considerations," Boxer added.

Muahahahahaha.

*sigh*

As a West Virginian, every time Senator Byrd's name comes up, I want to cry. What upsets me most is the huge margins he always seems to win re-election by. I can't believe that the reasonable people around here vote him back into office time and time again.

Well, with all of those monuments he puts up, I imagine his name recognition is pretty high. You can't swing a dead... cat without hitting some publicly funded project that has his name on it. No mention of what Sen. Byrd likes to see swinging, however. Trying to keep it clean today. :)
I always wonder when I see a state/distrcit that keeps voting the same pol in, again and again. Doubly so when they are a public embarrasment.
