When the children ran out of candy

Air America just took the money instead.

I wish I could say this sort of thing surprised me more than it did.  But it doesn't.  I am finding it hard to muster any anger over this.  I am angry, make no mistake, but this is just the latest of a long string of events.  Each proving that there isn't liberal bias in the media... no it's gone beyond that.  This is more like RICO level conspiracy to commit.  That is to say, not this latest incident, but the MSMs tendency to ignore, cover up or out right lie about the sins of liberalism and progressives.

Let's be honest, had even a single conservative talk show, let alone an entire network, taken a single dollar of money earmarked for poor or under privileged children, the NY Times, Washington Post, CNN and the rest of the usual suspects would be howling for blood.  The moonbats over at the DU would be barking themselves hoarse.  O-Dub, after he was doing yelling RACIST (part of a daily exercise routine to ensure he can do it as reflex when called upon) and cleaned the frosting off his lips (I hope that was Krispy Kreme on his lips after the meeting with his master Soros) would spare no effort in linking the radio personage to Bush, Rove, Satan, the NRA and perhaps Big Tobacco.  And of course, Aravosis and Rogers would work double time to find a gay connection to out over the incident.

This is why I haven't had the mojo to blog lately... with real life being very active, when I get home, I don't want to vent on the blog... I want to load up the Xbox and either use the Eagles to own the NFC or unleash insane destruction from multiple Kamehameha in DBZ Sagas. (Which, btw, after you beat Vegetta, isn't really all that hard.  I am hoping Cell is tough, because Frieza and the androids have been wussies)

Maybe I'll go online later, and regale you with the tales of my white trash neighbors... they got fined by the county for a fist full of violations over the weekend, so they are like an kicked ant hill over there...

Remember all the howling when that guy Williams was found to have received money to shill for some pet project of the White House? Now here we have Air Idiot directly tied to an embezzlement scam that might be a federal offense--to the tune of a half million bucks of money being diverted away from inner city youths and senior citizens--and there's nary a peep.

White trash? What does that make you if you live next to them? Why do you feel the need to put yourself above another person? Do you think you're better than they are? You're not. Maybe you could try helping them out instead of sitting on your ass, playing your Xbox games and bitching about all that's wrong with the world, while you're soooo perfect. My God what is wrong with people??

You're correct! It isn't liberal bias. The MSM is part of the PR arm of the DNC. Who knows what plans various other Dems have for government money that is supposed to go to the "poor?"

My my, but you're an angry little person, aren't you.
Since I haven't said what is wrong with my neighbors, how would you know what, if any help could be rendered?
As for perfection and high horses (yes, yes, you never said high horse), you'd best put down that stone Jess, before it bounces back on you.

Evon, liebschen,
What have I told you about leaving crumbs out on the table? If they stay there overnight, they are bound to attract trolls...
And I just cleaned...
;)

I'm not angry, just disgusted with what I see around me. I didn't say that you could most certainly help them out. I said you could try. And I do believe that you're the angry one. You're calling these people really childish names (which make you look unintelligent) and trying to pick fights with anyone who doesn't see the world the same way you do.
And by all means, PLEASE tell me how the "perfection and high horses" stone is going to "bounce back on me"... I don't believe I mentioned thinking I was better than anyone else, or putting people down. I think it's better to be understanding and open rather than judgemental and closed-minded, but I don't think that necessarily makes one person better than another - depending on how they choose to treat others.

man o man o man, I shouldnt have gone into the comments today.
JLB, you are a very judgemental person. Or at least you take offense at the idea that other people might make judgements you disagree with. You go after a man for staying on the couch and playing video games instead of helping his neighbors. And you knew nothing about anything.
Man has a busted foot, neighbors seem to need the kind of help that only professionals in white coats and perhaps butterfly nets can give.
I dont think skuzz is picking fights with you. you came here to pester one his commentors about 2 things that have never been discussed here, feminism and being pro-choice. you did it in more than one thread and none of them were related to your complaints. when the host points this out, you tell him to but out... do you come into peoples homes and pick on their guests only to tell the homeowner to but out and that you dont care bout their rights and rules? In blog terms that is what youve done.
Dont try to turn this around so youre the victim.
I know this will tick a couple people off, maybe SCSI too (how Catholic are you buddy?) but here goes
pull yourself off the cross, you aint Jesus.
